Product Details
Our benzaldehyde product line covers both high-purity and industrial-grade specifications: the ultra-pure variant is a crystal-clear colorless liquid, while the industrial-grade version ranges from colorless to soft pale yellow, both carrying the iconic, easily recognizable bitter almond aroma that the compound is known for. It comes with stable, verified physical properties: a melting point of -26 °C, a boiling point of 179 °C, a closed-cup flash point of 62 °C, and a consistent density of 1.044 g/cm³ at 20 °C. It is only slightly soluble in water, yet can be fully blended without any separation with mainstream organic solvents including ethanol, ether, benzene and chloroform, making it highly adaptable for different production formulas.

Product Usage
Its application scope extends to multiple specialized sectors: in the fragrance and flavor industry, it is incorporated into floral compound fragrances, soap perfumes, and flavoring systems for food and beverages; in the pharmaceutical industry, it serves as a key starting material for the synthesis of phenylglycine, ephedrine and other pharmaceutical products; in the pesticide sector, it is an indispensable raw material for the production of the herbicide Yeyanqin.
Furthermore, it is utilized in the manufacturing process of dye intermediates, benzylamine and benzyl alcohol, acts as a processing auxiliary in the polyamide dyeing process, and is added as a performance-enhancing additive in electroplating bath systems.
