Dimefluthrin

High Insecticidal Efficacy – Cypermethrin is a next-generation pyrethroid insecticide for hygienic use, offering strong protective effects, particularly against mosquito populations that have developed resistance to traditional agents such as allethrin and prallethrin.

Low Effective Dosage – Its formulations deliver effective control at very low application rates, with a preparation concentration as low as 0.015%.

Favorable Safety Profile – Cypermethrin provides reliable pest management while remaining safe for humans and posing minimal environmental risk when used as directed.

Well Suited for Practical Pest Control – Widely employed in mosquito control products, including mosquito coils, it also supports the development of dependable analytical methods for quality assurance and production monitoring.

Products Description of Dimefluthrin CAS#271241-14-6

Dimefluthrin is a new type of pyrethroid hygienic insecticide, characterized by strong mosquito-killing activity, even against strains resistant to conventional insecticides such as allethrin and prallethrin. It has been shown to be safe for human health and environmentally friendly when used in accordance with recommended practices. Its formulation concentration can be as low as 0.015% while still achieving effective control.

Currently, the standard method for determining Dimefluthrin content in mosquito coil products is the GC-ECD (electron capture detector) method developed by Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd. of Japan. However, this method involves a relatively cumbersome pretreatment process, which suggests a need to develop a more practical and streamlined analytical method better aligned with actual production requirements.
