Product Details
Our high-purity methanol, commonly known as "wood alcohol", is the simplest saturated monohydric alcohol organic compound. It is a colorless, transparent, flammable and volatile liquid with a mild faint alcohol odor, and we strictly remind all users that the substance is toxic: ingestion of 5-10 ml may cause permanent blindness, and larger intake can be fatal. At room temperature, our methanol shows no corrosive effect on almost all common industrial metals, with only lead and aluminum requiring special handling precautions.
All key performance parameters of our methanol are strictly controlled to meet industrial-grade standards: relative density 0.792 (20/4℃), melting point -97.8℃, boiling point 64.5℃, flash point 12.22℃, autoignition temperature 463.89℃, vapor density 1.11, vapor pressure 13.33 kPa (100 mmHg at 21.2℃), and the explosive limit of its vapor-air mixture ranges from 6% to 36.5% by volume. It is fully miscible with water, ethanol, ether, benzene, ketones, halogenated hydrocarbons and most common organic solvents, making it an ideal choice for use as a high-efficiency solvent, antifreeze, fuel and neutralizer for your production.

Product application
Our industrial-grade methanol is a highly versatile premium organic chemical raw material and high-quality clean fuel. It is widely adopted in fine chemical and plastic production lines, serving as the core raw material to synthesize formaldehyde, acetic acid, methyl chloride, methylamine, dimethyl sulfate and dozens of other high-value organic compounds. It is also a trusted upstream raw material for pesticide and pharmaceutical manufacturing. After simple targeted processing, it can be used as a standalone clean fuel, or blended with gasoline to make high-performance mixed fuel for combustion.
Our methanol shows excellent reactivity in industrial production: it easily carries out esterification with sulfuric acid and carbonic acid, and can be efficiently dehydrated to generate methyl ether under mild catalytic conditions, helping you reduce production energy consumption. As a high-performance industrial solvent, it offers appropriate solubility for most metal halides and organic acid salts, making it an ideal choice for your synthesis and dissolution processes. It is also a reliable precursor material for producing formaldehyde, formic acid and various acid ester products, fully meeting your diversified production needs.
